It's not difficult to find memory games. The premise is simple: flip two cards over and, if they don't match, return them to their uniform state and try again. However, what you don't often find is a beautiful, lasting version of this game. One for a child's bedroom or the family cupboard. Well, we found it. The drawings on these thick game cards are just enchanting and there are 72 cards to play with.

This number, of course, can be cut down to make for a simpler game for younger children. Just increase the number of cards as your child becomes more proficient. We are fond of using this set as a great brain exercise for adults, too!

Because the name of each particular animal accompanies its card, you can use the cards for spelling, identifying the different animals (the cute penguin, the fearsome shark, the pokey snail, the traditional rabbit, the popular hippo, the lonely bison – 36 in all) and the sounds they make, or simply for their classic and intended purpose: a colorful and fun way to sharpen concentration and have a laugh.
