On a starry winter's night, Mother Cat and her kitten notice that one star is bigger than the rest. As the mother and kitten encounter various animals journeying toward the star, they decide to join the procession.
The illustrations are so real they're almost like photographs. Really, they're enough to take your breath away. On the last page, we see nine animals gathered around a straw-filled manger, their hearts bursting with happiness because of the special baby before them.
